From a large cat husbandry perspective, that’s correct. The r/CT cougars being sought in Hartford, however, are of the monied, un-husbanded variety, and unlike puma/mountain lion/cougars, these cougars live in stately homes, not burrows in the woods. It was suggested that perhaps Greenwich or Westport could be better territory for hunting the r/CT cougar.

Yeah no they do not absorb the liability. I use an accountant and when I sign off on my 1040s for them to be filed, I also sign off that I do not hold them accountable (ha) for any errors and have reviewed the documents.

My late grandmother was responsible for the firm doing this. The IRS billed her for something the accountant screwed up on, she went after the accountant and made him pay for the issue lol. That was an expensive learning lesson for the firm and after that, they adopted this policy. She was a force to be reckoned with...😅

Could be, but if the seller was confident it would pass easily they would almost certainly get a far higher price running it through and selling it after.

The poster above isn't kidding, I've had the DMV reject a car for a leaky seal that had nothing to do with the damage or repair. It's a nightmare.

I’m genuinely curious why teachers were exempted…was that a union decision or something that came from the legislature when the program was being put together?

If I were to think of an occupation that would most benefit from the program, teachers probably would be in top 3.

Billions of people around the world manage to get by in the very same conditions, if not worse.......most by learning that working smart is better than working hard.

I 'm not going to be the one to say these kids are incapable of being normal human beings, but they sure as hell aren't special.
