How is the car not in your possession? Even if totaled it is still yours.

People will clutch their pearls because its Bridgeport. Yes, there is crime higher than the rest of the State. Yes, the East End is rougher. You'll have kids fighting and do teen stuff around the high school.
Realistically, though, you need to be able to get to work, and you're likely on a budget. I worked in the local news for nearly a decade. North of the hospital was mostly car accidents on rt 1.

Actually in that area the Farmington Canal came first.
And for other areas, rivers came first, and mills along them were later connected by rail.

Might wanna take a peek here. Scroll down to check out some of these stats:
Crime index
Crimes per square mile compared to the rest of CT.
And last, but not least, look at “MY CHANCES OF BECOMING A VICTIM OF A VIOLENT CRIME”
No, thank you though.

Train lines allowed manufacturers to receive materials and ship goods at a time when the trucking industry lagged. Spurs can bring a train car directly to a loading dock. You don't have to look very far back to when New England was an Industrial stronghold. Having seen the supply chain issues the last few years, I wouldn't think the benefit of having things being made local would cause confusion.

Just went through this, go to motor vehicle and cancel your registration. Then take the paperwork to the assessors office in your town.

We try. But the churchies and Republicans actively campaign FOR reckless reproduction, and unfortunately a lot of people agree with them.

The idea is to reduce harm. You know how every time there's a school shooting, we collectively refuse to do anything about the availability of weapons because we prefer to tell ourselves the violence is a result of poor mental health? Well, bullying is one of those things that damages the mental health of children.
I just had to try to convince someone that it's good to feed children. That might be a new low. Oh well, this is America.
