Hubbard Park, but go up the road in the back like you’re heading to Castle Craig. You’ll eventually come to another road intersecting off to the right on your way up. Take that road on the right up to the parking lot at the end (close to what I think are cell towers maybe?). There’s a trail there leading off of that parking lot that leads to these open cliffs where you can chill and look down over Meriden and huge parts of the valley. Lovely. Watched the eclipse from there.

[This road is closed for about half the year, though.]

My daughter is in elementary school and gets breakfast most days and lunch everyday. They seem like standard school lunches from my childhood - chicken patty sandwiches, pizza on fridays, tacos, and such. If they don’t like it there is a “fun lunch” which is usually like pb&j, a muffin or something else more plain.

There were some folks from our local high school who did a presentation for our parent group and they said the kids are always hungry, school lunch or not. Just the amount of time they may go, how short lunch breaks are, how lots skip breakfast and growing bodies. I’m sure it’s hard to keep them well fed, but wonder if the schools need to be more lenient about snacks or something.

This is my reason as well also the incompatibility and disaster that is our charging network. I don't think in a capitalistic government that will be solved let alone the time it takes to charge should be 5-10 mins max. There is no way this will be sustainable especially in this market or economy for the foreseeable future.

Imagine telling your boss its going to be 45 mins till I get to work to charge my car you think that excuse is going to fly lol.

Our only concern is how to deal with post Putin Russia when this inevitably leads to their country's collapse and a further destabilizing of that nation. Mark my words on this.. this doesn't look good for them or Putin, if they do not pull off some major spring/sumer miracles on this... or give Ukraine/NATO a favorable peace settlement, they are up shits creek.

Everyone thought Russia had a modern first world military before the invasion. Even US intelligence thought they would take Kiev in 3 days. Now we can see that all that oil money that Putin was giving to the Russian military, was likely just lining the pockets of the top brass. All their equipment was in disrepair before it even got into Ukraine. None of it was maintained. I doubt their ICBMs and nukes are in any better shape.
