Ridiculous that there’s even anyone out there that might be against free lunch for kids.

I agree its a good thing for the greater community. My wife and I don't have or plan to have kids but still support this. I just hope its decent quality and not some Fyre festival cheese sandwich type menu.

This has always been my take. If Russia were to destroy the us with all its nukes that assumes a few things:
Scenario A 1-that they are able to fire off nukes without any detection from the US without time to respond meaning they destroy the US completely 2- then what? Then the embargoes and sanctions are technically removed, but completely worthless. Russia cannot make any money or gain an additional power. That doesn’t guarantee subordination from all remaining powers. It more likely guarantees that nukes will already be in the air from other countries assuming they’re next.
Scenario B 1-Russia fires nukes, US catches them in time only to be able to respond with nukes ensuring mutual destruction 2-nothing is left, no one is able to make money or gain power when everyone is dead

Probably canoeing the Farmington, section by Riverton where the gradient is relatively steep, as are the surrounding hills. Top 150 spots anyways. Biking, hiking, canoeing and sailing here for 50 years, the list is long.

Awesome, I love it when economies of scale are utilized for the good of all.
The added productivity of parents not having to pack lunches probably covers the cost anyhow.

I'm a sucker for the Naugatuck State forest overlook of Route 8 in Beacon Falls, especially with fall foliage. Could just because its local for me.
So many great spots though, excited to see other comments and go check them out!

We moved from Franklin, Tn in October to Farmington Ct. after living in Tn for 34 years. My husband and I both grew up in Ct and finally couldn’t take it anymore.Traffic in Tn is horrible, pot holes everywhere, pick up trucks with confederate flags, ruthless republicans, I could go on and on. Able to sell our house for 6 times the amount we bought it for, bought a house here with no mortgage (house in Ct. nicer, totally remodeled), bought a new car no payments. Everyone here has been so welcoming and friendly.

Proving my point, maladjusted people with guns should be criminalized. You are triggered so easily by opinions and feel so brave behind your guns. You live an in alternate reality and your manhood is solely based on the weapons you own. Mentally inept.

I agree but I never seen this growing up (millennial). The people who got free breakfast and lunch they qualified and got it.
They rest of us had food.
The times have changed with inflation is my guess.

I do enjoy the different themes she puts on her billboards each month / season. I wonder what her annual marketing budget is
