It’s supposed to be the passing lane; not the fast lane. That’s the problem. Speed is relative and the common nomenclature for the left lane has been “the fast lane” for a long time now. I can’t stand left lane campers and will go around them if it’s safe to do so but I still don’t camp the left lane myself no matter how fast I think I’m traveling.

Honestly, the worse thing to me is that lazy/incompetent/distracted people blast into the left lane immediately after entering the highway just so they can zone out while they’re operating their oversized vehicles.
Why more people aren’t alarmed at how unaware of their surroundings these campers are boggles my little mind. It’s incredibly selfish and unsafe. Just pay attention to the road for the 20 minutes you’re (not you specifically) driving. Sheesh.

Just splurged on Chili’s for the family. Now sitting, smoking some dabs, and watching last night’s episode of Critical Role. Preparing for a weekend of playing Pathfinder 2 (D&D alternative) and setting up my new fish tank.

Giving my pets the long awaited, undivided attention they’ve been seeking and also deserve. Wine. Hopefully dive back into Terry Pratchett’s “Guards! Guards!” May make pizza because now I want some. Edibles if all else fails? Signing off now as I’ve just reminded myself I have better things to do. Hope you all get what you need and enjoy the evening.

For beans—Strigo. They’re super friendly, located in the same business complex as the 314 beer garden, and do free local delivery themselves to a few local zip codes. Easily my go-to roastery, fresh as can be. Other nearby options include Quartertone (he works out of Nod Hill Brewery’s building in ridgefield) and Shearwater (a few locations in Fairfield county).

For cafes—Cafe Dolce has been my favorite for years now, and Pausa and Allora are newer options. Haven’t been to Allora yet, but they use Strigo beans, which is a good sign. Pausa is Italian in everything they do, food and coffee.
