They justify it because fixed costs have gone up without the state matching the increases. Same with the rest of the system. They justify it because math exists. It’s not “mismanagement” it’s just reality.

And no you can’t just dip into the endowment as most funds are restricted by donors for specific purposes.

You’re welcome.

I read an article about pepper cream. It kills the nerve endings and that stops the pain. Begins with a C… OTC. It’s worth a try if you haven’t tried it yet.

A lot of people aren’t familiar with this, but there is Richard Simpson oil. RSO.

It can be used topically so you don’t get high off it but it is sold at the medical dispensaries. The good ones the one in Bristol did have it. I don’t know if they have to order it.

Theres a reason for that disparity but if you say it you get downovted. But i 1000% agree. State shouldnt step in cause soemhow UConn has manged to turn pandemic era relief into a staple in its budget. The quality of student that goes to UConn vrs CSCU is noticable. One might even argue that if this 3k increase goes into place the type of student UConn attracts might choose a flaghsip somwhere else. Ik my validitrian went here. would she if another flagship like pennstate was a similar price. Idk its hard to quite state but that disparity in funding didnt just come outta nowhere. A state like Ct needs a UConn to attract certain types of individual. There are so many reputable colleges in sorroudning states. We might have a legitimate brain drain if Uconn looses its competive price edge. I dont know how UConn is run but there should be no price hike as well as no increase by the state. Some people needa get fired come programs needa get cut. Unless similar colleges like pennstate and Rutgers get similar tuition increases i dont think they should>

Edit
Just came to say im talking about high acheiving and not class. How many senators went to community colleges. This isnt about class. AOC was poor and went to boston college. Connecticut spends more to attract people like her . High achieving regardless of class.

They’ve gotten me by 25 more than once over the years. I questioned it of course and was told by CSP that NPD had jurisdiction on 8 as well, dates back to when 8 was just a bunch of small highways that weren’t connected yet. I’ve seen them pull people over too, they also got a friend for fake plates about 7 years ago right by 25

See if you can add an addendum to the lease where if you can provide a credit worthy, qualified tenant, then the landlord releases you from your remaining term and obligations. With no penalties or security deposit deductions. (Provided your in the apartment at least 12-14 months, in a 2 year lease. ) Before you can provide a new tenant, you would just need to find out the what qualification requirements are of the landlord , advertise the apt , pre-qualify the people inquiring in order to weed out any non-qualifiers , then show the apartment to prospective renters. Once you’ve done all of this heavy lifting and produce a valid tenant , the landlord will usually ask them or you, to submit the application. Maybe with a security deposit too. This is something you can go over initially w the LL. **It’s important to keep the phone number and email of the person you just produced just to follow up to make sure they did in fact sign the lease.

Couple tips: technically illegal to cross state borders with it, but my best advice is be careful driving through New Hampshire. They do recognize out-of-state medical cards...just be careful with the quantity.

Maine has excellent products and fantastic prices. Make sure you go to medical place and not recreational. They take out-of-state cards just fine. Prices shown on the shelf include all taxes.

Edit: There’s a place in York that’s very fairly priced. Tops Farm.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Mansfield has caused countless headaches for UConn over the years and by most accounts hates students. While the school predates nearly every family in town. UConn drives the bus and should not have to compromise to weirdo nimbys who move to a college town expecting the state flagship university to defer to them. Ultimately this won't happen because Storrs never split off from the rest of town and now never will

You've only further reinforced my decision not to go there by suggesting I drink an IPA with my wings lol

Edit: just to be clear here, that is a solid deal but I specifically do not want to go to a big chain restaurant, I want to go to a local place that has regulars and an entirely different atmosphere.

Also, boneless wings are nuggets.
