I recommend Theory Wellness. They have an online pre-ordering system to look and see what they have - however, that can be very overwhelming. They have walk-ins as well and you can speak with a consultant that can walk you through what would work for you and best suits you. I've brought friends that had the MM card and were frustrated with what CT had to offer and no information and felt like they left Theory with so much information that they finally understood. Theory is very knowledgeable and gives you all the information you need and always have many options.

UConn is a great institution that has good programs and provides high quality education to it's students. That said, it's incredibly frustrating living in the town of Mansfield and watch UConn piss money away and watch buildings that they wanted built constantly have to pull new business tenants because rents are so high. It's frustrating watching them throw their weight around the town like they own it with little regard for people who live here. Traffic is awful around campus, the drivers are pretty bad, and to top it all off, the college barely spends money with business in town. UConn should think about trimming its own budget before complaining it doesn't get enough money. Tuition is pretty insane over there already.

as far as CT goes, none of these places really hold your hand. i go to The Botanist in Montville and it's pretty much the same. the one thing that helped me was using the CT Strain name directory some helpful citizen created. type in the strain you're looking at and it will give you the actual strain name instead of what CT uses in their dispensaries. from there, use the Leafly app to figure out if that strain is best for you.

for example Purpalex is just Grand Daddy Purp. Borealex is just Northern Lights. you get the idea.

I have had the most horrible experience with them. They approve my claim, and then proceed to tell me they weren’t going to pay it! I was having my second surgery in the last 2 years,so I cannot collect unemployment because I am not available to work! Duh! I was having a second surgery and my employer didn’t wanted to wait anymore and terminated me. I explained this to them. I appealed it and they still denied it. So they are holding almost $11,000.00 dollars in my account and refuse to give it to me. I can’t pay my mortgage, utilities or medical insurance. It makes you want to give up on life. Sorry about expelling. English is my second language. I was an essential worker. Worked all thru Covid. Sometimes 7 days a week. And this what they are doing to me! Is heartbreaking.

So YOU are saying it’s minorities / low income communities. Got it.

Most people with common sense know that simply banning an item will not prevent any further tragedies.

Are you going to give your car up to the government if they ban cars because of drunk drivers?

You could ban every gun in existence and Chicago will still have a high murder rate. Gotta deal with the people, not the objects.

Also, why does this keep happening Are democratic appointed DA’s incapable of upholding the law?

This isn't the "gotcha" you think it is. It's usually the line I get when talking about urban crime with gun nuts. Saying "criminals commit crime" is also pretty self evident, so I didn't think you'd be that stupid as to want to spell that out as if it was an argument.

And yes, people with guns shoot people. People without guns, can't shoot people. Reducing those guns in quantity or effectiveness reduces the number of people who are shot.

But you know what the most effective means to reduce crime is? Improving quality of life through raising incomes, revitalizing neighborhoods, providing social resources, and developing communities where people don't need to resort to crime to survive.

If we spent half of what we do on the military on those types of goals, we wouldn't be seeing the kinds of shooting sprees that lead to these calls to ban guns. Too bad most gun nuts are also Republican who vote against using money this way though.
