Unless you find a secret daycare center, you may need to go on Facebook and find a nanny you can trust. It takes time to vet someone and feel good about them. If you value socialization for your child (duh), you may want to see if there is a nanny who watches other children around that age.

You might need to pay higher than 600 per week depending on what you need. But it might only be temporary for you if you are okay with using a daycare once a slot opens.

I'm sure you can find cheaper but nothing I'd be okay with for my kids. COVID crushed the childcare system and now unfortunately, many households just opt to have one parent stay at home until the children are in grade school since most of your paycheck would go to childcare anyways lol

After I got my account set up I was able to file but in terms of getting any payment I had a hold on my account for 2 weeks. I was able to finally talk to someone after a week and a half and she said everyone has an initial hold for 2 weeks. The only improvement I see is that I can file on Sun or Mon instead of Sun like before

This happened to my partner. He also experienced the multiple day callback nonsense, and getting the callback only to be immediately put on hold for an extended period of time. But by far the scariest thing was finding out someone used his info for fraudulent claims. He managed to get it sorted over the phone, but it took a week or two

If you go to an office, make sure it's a DOL office. The American Job Centers usually don't have any DOL staff there, and the AJC staff know nothing about and have zero ability to do anything with the DOL system. Many front line DOL staff know the system is aweful but have to tote the departments line about it being successful.

ATVs equipped with ATGM, that is. It's not some .308 rounds taking these tanks down. Plus, it's mostly Javelins and NLAW destroying the T-90 from what I understand. Both of which are provided by foreign countries to Ukraine. And neither of which is in mass circulation to the general public of the United States.

I don't love the government but I also don't hold massive disdain for it either where I feel the need to be heavily armed to feel safe. What a shit country to live in if that's the case. Sounds something straight from a war torn country than a developed country.

They are so incompetent, its easier to have someone else file on your behalf(common scam), then it is to cancel it. They have no consequences, they will never get back to you, they just hope you die so you stop calling them.

It's also been hacked and allowed scammers to file fraudulent claims on behalf of thousands of CT residents. There is no real option for assistance or reporting the fraud outside creating a stink in person at their office. On top of that the state refuses to acknowledge the obvious vulnerability in their system and hails it as a success.

You sound like somebody who just wants to bend over and take it (or you depend and love the government as it is) I love it when somebody who has no experience in service (training in military )has such sewage come out of their mouth. In training we are taught how small arms can bring down armies if united It was a bunch of Ukrainian on ATVs that brought down a column of Russian tanks Step away from the government tit put down your Doobie, and wake up and don’t tell everybody else to give up to tyranny just because you believe it’s useless you lazy do nothing government loving, trusting piece of poop

Yes, that is, and has been the standard bs for some time now. My best advice is to keep on them and they will still send you your checks even if you've already returned to work. They owe you that money from the weeks you were not working regardless of their problems.

ES - Eversource has an ever growing dividends every year to it shareholder. It will eventually reach the top 20 dividend paying stocks on NYSE by 2025 next to Fastenal by 2024 https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/es/dividend-history

Part of executives compensation agreement are in stocks. They are paying themselves through dividends. Just never sold the shares so it's not taxable or reduced the longer they hold it. Nothing corrupt about that. Most NYSE company does that.

From my understanding the company performance sucks. So I passed on buying in for the dividends. A growing debt to asset ratio now at 70%

My understanding of the company political standing and involvement is lacking so don't judge me. When they say they gonna shift the cost to shareholders. I think it's impossible unless they looking to cut dividends. Cutting it enough will make this company unattractive eventually bankrupt unless they charge the customers to cover the cost. The executive could then exercise their options and sell to pay themselves.

I'm just saying this political move can eventually fuck the customers over. I do not know as I have no vote in the company.
