Running machines? What kind of machines? CNC Machining gigs even for people just starting out usually start off around $20 an hour or so. With a year of experience you can easily jump up to around $3-4 an hour by switching shops. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the Windham area but I'd bet there's machine shops nearby that area lol.

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what the DCP is. Only one oversight action in a decade? I think you’re being overly conspiratorial on this in general.

For example.

> Through its Legal Division, the Department enhanced enforcement of consumer protection laws by effectively resolving issues of concern with persons and establishments it regulates. These initiatives included 191 compliance meetings, 37 formal hearings/administrative complaints, 64 formal hearing decisions, 174 Settlement Agreements, Consent Decrees and Stipulations, 28 Assurances of Voluntary Compliance, 12 subpoenas/civil investigative demands, and 0 Declaratory Ruling were issued.

I’m so glad you got the help you needed! I know a nurse who works in that unit so I’ll be sure to show her this post next time I see her. Usually, staff are not allowed to accept gifts of “monetary value” but you could have some snacks/food delivered and that should be ok (don’t forget about night shift 😉). But honestly & truly, a heartfelt card or letter sent to the unit to thank the staff is always most appreciated. Nursing can often be a thankless job and we treasure those cards/letters. Good luck to you in your continued recovery ❤️

I would beg to differ regarding Hartford Hospital. My son was kept waiting in the emergency room for 17 hours with appendicitis. They misdiagnosed my ovarian torsion while I was pregnant with twins and sent me home with pain killers. Well this pain is like no other and my husband took me back to the ER where they admitted me but didn’t diagnosis that I had a dying organ in my body until the next morning and was subsequently rushed into emergency surgery. I could go on and on. They suck.
