I’ve had two kids at Waterbury. Some injuries addressed as well. The staff there are great. Far better than anything you’d expect in Waterbury.

Downtown Population increased 50% the last 5 years. It’s becoming a very nice place to live

Do these kids not get outside in the 18 hours per day they are not in school? Surely they don’t get only 20 minutes out of the entire day to relax, right?

My kid keeps getting sick. Cough, fever, runny nose, body chills. Negative covid though. He gets sick in school. Then has to miss a few days.

Actually dumbass, both my kids are out of public school, and the reason I think group punishment for individual problem children is oblivious and accomplishes nothing because the good kids don’t have influence over the bad kids, beyond that, children shouldn’t be pressured into hazing tactics against their school mates by an administration too lazy to properly approach correcting the problem children’s behaviors which could be caused by a litany of issues… not just ‘bad parents’… which is a pretty aggressive description considering that LOTS of those ‘bad parents’ are working 2 or 3 jobs trying to make ends meet for their family in a state with very limited support systems besides the public school system… you dumb fucking clown.

West End.. make sure you’re North of Farmington Ave heading towards Asylum St and St.Francis.. stay between Farmington Ave and Asylum St, can’t stress this enough.. If you’d like to live downtown, there are many choices for apartments between Main St and Union Station, most very safe since it’s downtown and there is a police presence there

Too bad because geographically Killingly isn’t so bad. Sucks it’s such a shithole

Yeah I’m going to need to see the receipts on this. Also a reminder that the police are allowed to lie their asses off to you. As of today there are 5 registered sex offenders in Killingly.

I was going to say the same thing … also I recall schools having like ten missed days and you could be kept back. That was a very long time ago but still

Reply to Ct paid leave questions by blindmike95
She can use both as long as it’s not more than her current wage
CT PL pays $840/week
STD pays $250/week
So if she makes more than $1090/week then she should be able to claim both.
However, many insurance companies have put measures into place that lessen STD if employees are eligible for state paid leave.
