Look into the “workshare “ program within the state . It’s setup for those with short term reduced hours.

The government tried to Eversource responsible after the last big hurricane and Eversource's response was to jack-up prices after it all died down to recoup their losses. So I trust Eversource to always find a way to bill it back to the customer.

I don't believe they can turn off your power in the winter, so technically you would have until May 1st to pay your bills. Maybe if everyone just didn't pay until then they'd cave well before they could start turning people off for non-payment? A whole quarter of no revenue would be pretty devastating to the company, and quarterly earnings is the only language they seem to understand.

> Can't file suit in CT without a report signed by a doctor of the speciality of the relevant standard of care, certifying the standard, the breach, and the causation. So that's been done.
I can't honestly find anything which backs your claim here. I did some googling and not seeing anything about the state requiring another doctor to sign-off on your lawsuit. Logically, that also seems counter-intuitive, as it's like requiring a police office to sign-off on your complaint to Internal Affairs.
So please provide a source to put this debate to rest. I don't think what you said is necessarily true.

Louie’s Seafood Market in Colchester is very good. Tuesday is the best day as they drive to their supplier on Monday (day they are closed) every week.

Not only that, but one of the Republicans elected was literally an officer in an SPLC designated hate group.

Heck, growing up in Berlin I was just in trouble if I wasn’t back before dinner without notice. I’m not sure my parents knew where I was on most days, although they probably could have found out with a few phone calls.

As a former employee and part of that union myself, I’m really curious. As I was leaving, they were unionizing everyone in the customer service department. I was told that was kind of the last of the last, that were left. But either way, I can amend to say, the majority of the employees there are union, if that makes you feel any better.

I lived in North Jersey, Bloomfield, Montclair, West Paterson (and woodland park, I was there when they changed the name), and Paterson. I miss NJ and my friends so much. Been so hard since I moved back here

Technically the law says you need both. I've seen dealerships drill literal holes into the front bumper covers of cars to comply with this. Happened to a buddy of mine on his Subaru WRX a few years back.
It's a stupid law.

I’m sorry my experience living in places doesn’t match preconceived notions. I feel far more likely to be struck by a vehicle where I am now than when I lived in Hartford.

Interesting...when I travel to developed countries outside of the US and Canada, I never paid $35 for burgers and $15 for fries. The US must be real shit if customers have to subsidize the wages of workers.
