you know it's because you are up high, the nearby area are mostly rural and suburban, and ct has a lot of trees, which block most 1-2 story houses and non field areas?

Reply to Killington, Connecticut parents arrested for letting kids, ages 7 and 9, walk to Dunkin' Donuts by Kodiak01
They should have driven them to DnD with an open container.
The one thing about this state I find strange is how boarded up all the kids are. In NY, our kids were running around the neighborhood all the time. Here, our neighbors are always "worried" that we let our kids out too much. They only interact with other kids at activities, and they miss hanging out in the neighborhood with others.

The overwhelming answer of "yes" is shocking to me. My car doesn't have a place to mount a front plate. What am I supposed to do?

The west end is nice! I lived there for a year and enjoyed it/never felt unsafe.
(This was 3/4 years ago and I was in my late 20s)

Sure. A utility bill often still serves as a valid form of proof of residence in many situations. It's really the only paper bill I still get for that very reason.

Electricity is inelastic, meaning we basically buy the same amount regardless of the price. The only way to get that price down is to produce more electricity. Most of the electricity we consume is produced by natural gas, and those prices are messed up due to supply chain disruption.
So, what do we do?
Well, we produce more electricity. How do we do that? Fuck if I know.

Everyone who downvotes, this is why we have a teaching shortage.

Or maybe they are kids who need their behavior addressed by their parents; I know that sounds crazy because everyone's child is a precious snowflake.

If commuting is a possibility I'd recommend that.

There are books (becoming scarcer) of historical photos of particular towns that border Ellington.
Try a Walgreens in town.

I think there’s a decent middle eastern/Indian population in the area. So lots of good stuff! There’s also some random ones like Lalibela - Ethiopian, Tibetan Kitchen, Hachiroku - izakaya, Toka - Indonesian, Ketkeo - Laotian. Interesting Thai at Sept in Bangkok and Noa. Amazing sushi at Rockfish and ramen at Menya. Great city for ethnic foods.
Almost forgot Havenly, for middle eastern food. they support refugees.

I was clearly being facetious but okay. I'm actually waiting on a few books from amazon today. Should be a good read!

Kids are often disruptive when they have pent up energy or need a break. Taking away their only opportunity to get that is just asking for them to be more disruptive.

15kWh/day, locked in at $.0899/kWh with Constellation until 12/2024.
$38.30 supply + $54.19 delivery = $93.49

The standard magazine on a Glock 26 is only 10 rounds, so it's not sus that it didn't have a hicap charge.
