This homeowner is in an out parcel, with a non-CA HOA.

What about ambient noise from the Pavillion during concert season?

I thought Nordstroms does everything through Indochino now? I tried indochino. The results were... OK, but expensive and slow and the fit was not all that I hoped it would be.

The sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is a living annual plant in the family Asteraceae, with a large flower head (capitulum). The stem of the flower can grow up to 3 metres tall, with a flower head that can be 30 cm wide. Other types of sunflowers include the California Royal Sunflower, which has a burgundy (red + purple) flower head.

Yeah, we're registered as a monarch waystation.. You need milkweed, a source of nectar, and water. We planted sunflowers and green and gold, and the birds planted partridge peas and bone set. The sunflowers in particular are fun to watch because they support so many animals, they're like their own little ecosystem: aphids, ants, grasshoppers, mantises, spiders, butterflies, bees, wasps, birds, and squirrels.

Columbia is definitely set up different. A lot of the houses are apart of the Columbia Association. Someone who lives there can correct me, but that's the big HOA.

Sounds amazing!! You might already be doing this - but I suggest adding other native plants for nectar sources through out the year. Wildflower.org has a tool that lets you search by state, bloom time, height, color, sun requirements, etc. Its a really helpful tool for garden planning!

We also planted milkweed in our front yard this year, and got dozens of monarchs. We actually inspired a few of our neighbors to do the same, and we even got a very insect-phobic neighbor to hold a butterfly for a few seconds.

If it's the Beech Creek neighborhood off of Route 108, then yes it's Columbia. Go across the street and you're in EC.

We're house hunting in that area, might need to reconsider if HOAs are like this

Not sure about the insurance but UM Faculty Physicians, Inc on Waterloo road is great. Dr. Esege is awesome and itâs linked with University of Maryland. They have immediate care on site and some speciality care as well.

Is it Columbia, though? It looks like their HOA is Beech Creek HOA, which is not a Columbia village.

Harpers Forest Apartment is probably the most 3/5 apartment complex Iâve lived in.
Management isnât too bothersome, but also doesnât really do much. They will send you a notice to evict if your even a day late on rent though. Maintenance is subpar and will has not handled requests very well, but I havenât had an actual emergency yet either.
My main complaint would definitely be lack of sound isolation. I can hear people outside with my windows closed and the footsteps of neighbors above me with zero issue.

More of this needs to happen in Columbia. Many of the Covenants for the Villages are outdated and it's a handful of people that decide what changes are made to them. They have picturesque ideas of what yards need to look like based on ideas from when Columbia was originally established 50 years ago.

Not sure if they accept your insurance (you can call and ask) but Dr. Kimberlee Adkins with Maryland Primary Care is wonderful. They just moved to Broken Land Parkway.

But it is an outparcel. Columbia zip code, but not Columbia association.
