Tacos Don Perez in Silver Spring serves authentic cuisine, nothing Tex mex. Great vegan and vegetarian options as well.

Some coordination would be nice. Now that the trees are mostly done dropping leaves, every house on my street has done theirs except one. And it's the one next door to me, and now their leaves constantly blow into everyone else's yard.
I mowed before we went out of town last weekend and came back to huge piles of their leaves on the side of our house. They still haven't done them. What irks me is the house is rented. If you don't want to do yard work, rent an apartment.

I had a great vegetarian burrito from Tampico Grill! I find it's often hard to get high-quality veggie options, even with places that do have those options. This one was full of veggies and super delicious!

All the highly rated Indian places do great vegetarian food. Clarksville common has that Bahn mi place where you can their sandwich with impossible meat. Regional usually has done great vegetarian options. Traveling out of HC, look up Ahadu or Tigi for take out (or any Ethiopian places in DC to eat in) for incredible vegetarian and vegan options.
Sorry, but Mexican is lacking, and the ones we have tend to be basic on vegetation and lack vegan

Yep, my wife and I took one of my younger vegetarian cousins to the one in DC in 2019, and she still raves about it.

Yep, I was going to recommend this place. You can reserve the duckpin lanes online, and it's a flat rate (I went a few months ago and I think it's $50) for an hour, and you can have up to like 6 or 7 people, I believe.

Reply to Centennial Park Falun Dafa/Falun Gong by Shento
Just like plenty of religions and cults, the day-to-day stuff that individual practitioners do is usually very innocent, positive, hard to criticize. On its surface, Falun Gong is just a group that encourages spirituality, meditation exercises, and some basic philosophical ideas of morality.
It's the Leadership/Organization that's usually the problem, using the power and support they've gathered to further to spread their shitty politics. In this case, what started as just some pseudo-intellectual wanting to spread his ramblings evolved into a group with millions of followers at one point.
The group did garner a lot of worldwide sympathy after the Chinese government cracked down on them HARD in the 90s... being victims of religious persecution surely helped their image in the eyes of the public. But in the end, they're just another damn religious cult.

Eattini Thai in Ellicott City has lots of vegetarian options, and is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I highly recommend their chive cakes appetizer.
Mango Grove is a really great Indian restaurant, has lots of both Vegetarian and Vegan choices.
Regionale has more limited options (just 3 vegetarian sandwiches), but they're all super tasty. I'm also in love with their house-made chips.

Not mexican but there is a really good ethiopian restaurant in ellicott city that you definitely have to try. There are tons of dishes that are already traditionally vegan or vegetarian
