Ellicott City has judges bench, la palapa on main street.

Breweries include sapwood, black flag, hysteria, and manor hill.

If you just want to hang out and have a few pints, then I would go to a brewery. If you want more of a clubby atmosphere, the closest in hoco is nottinghams. If you want more of a party atmosphere then you have to go to Baltimore, dc, or Annapolis.
