Interestingly enough. Eric Greenberg went on about not having a CA email, yet the Village of Riverhill has listed him with a CA email addresses, since he was elected.
If CA is handing out address that are simply mail forwarders to the Board Member's personal email account, then that needs to change ASAP.

The connection about Klein's past ethics violations and the candidate pool issue was very interesting. I had heard about each issue separately, but embarrassingly I had not put two and two together.
Also makes me think about how if I remember correctly he got hung up on some of the simplest audit committee recommendations (let alone the more complicated ones) at the last board meeting. Like don't use your official CA email for non CA business ... something literally every job I have ever had has required of me

I'm thinking that bridge has been burned, buried in a swamp, burned again, then nuked for good measure.

>In order for the Board elections to coincide with the budget cycle, elections are held in late April, and CA Board members are officially sworn in the following month.
Get involved if you can, and definitely go vote in your village!

Years ago, Great Sage in Clarksville had an amazing g-free carrot cake. But I don’t know if that restaurant is even around anymore? Sanctuary Modern Kitchen in Frederick is my go-to for g-free desserts. Don’t know if they do carrot cake, though.

Roots Market in Clarksville does custom cakes and cupcakes. They have a wheat-free carrot cake with cream cheese frosting cupcake on their signature cupcakes menu (bottom of the page). https://rootsmkt.com/catering/

I don’t know if they have what you’re looking for, but I’d try Roggenart and/or Bonheur Patisserie & Deli.

Terrible urban planning? You clearly haven’t lived in very many places.

Yeah I never seen anyone pass on the shoulder except when I’ve driven on 295. Seems to happen most when I’m outside of Baltimore heading South.

Columbia Barber Shop on Minstrel Way is always affordable and consistent. Nice people too. There is a left and right side with separate doors. Both sides cut well.

Other Maryland cities also have theaters offering open captions. See https://www.reddit.com/r/opencaptions/comments/zem406/maryland_theaters_offering_open_captions/

DC has such worse drivers than anything outside the beltway. I ventured on 295 and was literally astonished that people use the shoulders as normal lanes quite regularly.

Maryland is 33rd on the list of bad drivers. i.e. 32 states are worse than we are.

Just go and lay on the horn. They'll stop or they'll be at fault for a collision. If that many people went they probably assumed you were turning or not paying attention because you were sitting there with your thumb up your ass.

DMV drivers can't drive when it's sunny and 70 degrees.

Current CA Employee here. Our e-mail adresses are managed by Google. I've never been foolish enough to try to set a forwarding rule to my personal address, but it was definitely not instituted automatically.
