“I was walking home behind her” doesn’t mean she was following her home.

It was this project: https://fortythorndike.com/ one corner of that property is where OP had their car wrecked. The project was going on for most of the 2 years I lived next to it. Endless jackhammers lol.

i think people are calling her a karen because she followed the other woman and continued harassing her, but she was right to call AC

Apparently the OG Karen was actually “Miss Anne”

When you start chasing after someone who has not hurt or threatened you or anyone else, you’re the aggressor. Tell her to leash her dog, then move on.

Agreed. I wouldn't call her a Karen, though. (I see your quotation marks.) I think a Karen is an entitled person who feels the rules don't apply to them. Wasn't the original Karen the woman with an off-leash dog in Central Park, NYC, who called the police on the guy who asked her to leash her dog?

It tastes ok when filtered, but it’s cost me at least $5000 in personal damages and destroyed the finishes on my new bathroom fixtures

Yeah I’m not sure how I feel about the “Karen” who called animal control bc this really is how dogs get hurt or killed.

Fleck brand water softners are the best rated for performance and longevity. Plenty of info online about them and can even choose the quality of resin beads when ordering..

If you’re going to be installing filtration equipment, it might be useful to do a lab test of your water to understand if there are any other elements you want your system to filter out. Water quality can vary - even when it comes from the same municipal source.
I used https://mytapscore.com/ a few years ago and was very pleased with the report I got.

And it's not like Fresh Pond isn't right down the street if you really want off leash time for your dog.

I saw an unleashed dog get hit by an MBTA bus right in front of me on Concord Ave. There's a group of people who let their dogs run off-leash in a small grassy area just to the side of the road, and of course the dogs were chasing each other and darted into the road. I still get angry just thinking about it.

For the love of god, do NOT leave your off-leash dog unattended in a public park. Dog poop is nasty, and imagine the dangerous situations for your dog or others, etc. What the hell is wrong with people?

From this data, you would be pretty much assured of getting into Peabody if you make that your first choice (since they are expecting at least four spots for people without any bonus points). You are not assured of getting into G&P.
They project 19 spots for people with proximity bonus at G&P, and in the previous year there were 32 folks with proximity bonus that applied.

I’m no longer in Cambridge, but man was the water bad when I was there. In my home, I installed an under-sink RO system from iSpring and it’s been great. They are US-based and have good customer support. You could try some of their whole-home filtering options. I don’t have any experience with the whole-home filters personally, though.
