I go to Cambridge Cat Clinic. Last year, my cat's yearly checkup was $75, plus another $60 for vaccines.

That sounds reasonable for a vet, $150 fee for travel time in lieu patient time. Consider how fucking awful traffic is here.

I paid $133 for a rabies update and a exam at winter hill vet clinic for my gremlin. Obviously it may vary for yours.

I recommend Cambridge cat clinic! Our cats are also nightmares so they gave us a light sedative to give to them and now it’s peachy. If you’re just doing once a year check ups, it should be cheaper, but I would double check your needs with their fees to be safe.

We also got a DJ (Mike) through First Class Weddings, and he was amazing! Very professional service and our dance floor was packed.

We used Disc Jockey Boston for our wedding a few years ago. He did an excellent job both as a DJ and an MC, and was also the least expensive out of everyone we asked!

Big Party Orchestra. Incredible musicians, incredible organization, and they basically ran the wedding post ceremony. They played mine and it was insane. The guitarist played on the letterman show the following week.

We used First Class Weddings. They were incredibly thorough, responsive, and gave exactly the energy level we wanted. They have several djs with different styles, so you can get the one who matches your vibe best.

We used The Chicken Slacks who were great. They play soul/funk/motown. They also play at Cantab lounge in Cambridge every Thursday if you want to see what they’re like.

The “old” Republik was The People’s Republik. “New” Republik is New Republik.

Yeah there is one in Inman at the corner of Cambridge and Tremont

Is there a different New Republik? The old one on Mass Ave is a Tanjore now.

On the 22nd of October, the undead of Cambridge, Somerville, and beyond, will rise and swarm the streets in search of brains, booze, or both.....

After a pretty necessary two year hiatus, The Camberville Zombie Pub Crawl is back from the dead for it's third year! Throw on your best zombie attire and join the horde for an event that should not be missed.

The schedule is as follows:

-State Park Bar: 6:30-8pm

-Lord Hobo: 8-9:30pm

-The New Republik: 9:30-11pm

-Trina's Starlite Lounge/Parlor Sports: 11-12:30am

-The Druid: 12:30-2am

At the end of each time slot, we as a group will crawl, moan, amble, and groan our way to the next spot. Amaro Montenego is our gracious sponsor this year, so keep an eye socket out for specials featuring them along the way.

Helpful hints for new and seasoned zombies alike:

• Eat snacks! All participating bars serve food (with the exception of our last stop at The Druid), and eating food is a great way to survive all 5 stops and remember them the next day

-Bring valid ID! Checking ID's for people with a face full of makeup is hard enough already, so make sure your ID is valid and up to date

-Bring cash! We want to be as nice to our bartenders as possible, and not making them open and close 50 zombie tabs for one drink is a great start

-Be respectful! Having a large number of people flood your bar all at once can be stressful, so let's all try to make this as easy as possible for the establishments that have graciously accepted to be included in our crawl

This event is open to anyone and everyone over the age of 21, so spread the word, invite your friends, share this event, and let's kick off Halloween season right!

Definitely Market Basket Somerville. Tuesday all day is good because the crowds are few and everything is stocked. Friday morning is ideal but before 10am which is not possible for most people who work.
