Thank you! I shot it on Thanksgiving Day, 2021. It is a view of the Closed-spandrel arch bridge over Alewife Brook on Mystic Valley Parkway, looking up into the Alewife Brook. This is where Medford, Somerville, and Arlington meet.

It's a little trickier than accident rates though. If drivers make pedestrians feel unsafe, then some amount of pedestrians will stay home or choose to drive. This is a notoriously difficult effect to measure, but an important one
Banning turns on red is an important step to making pedestrians the top priority for streets instead of cars.

Earlier in the year I saw a car on the sidewalk crashed into a mailbox. Last week I saw a car turn left and go the wrong direction up the road. There's no way to be totally safe from a car massively fucking up

An end to sewage pollution? Flooding reduction and mitigation? An end to the MWRA’s sewage smell? A Trash-Free Alewife Brook? New native plants and pollinator gardens? A brook that is boatable? A community canoe launch? River restoration? Clean water that supports wildlife habitat? Restoring the Alewives to a Healthy Alewife Brook? Something else?

I left one on the curd assuming the next Amazon driver to see it would pick it up. No such luck. I had to wait until I saw one in my neighborhood and physically return it to them.
