That's the above mentioned wirecutter article, which outlines failed lab tests. Also in the article is a discussion of the third party certifications that are typical of water filters that Berkey doesn't have. To my knowledge, Berkey claims these are cost prohibitive.

As far as the lawsuit, it was filed by One World Filters. The court filings are messy, it's been dragged through at least 2 states, and I'm not a lawyer. There aren't specific news articles about it that I've found, it's all forum posts and YouTube videos with snipits of court filings. Not great sources, but coupled with independent lab testing and their refusal to pursue 3rd party certification; it seems like a perfectly good reason not perchase a $300+ water filter.

Get separate trimmers for lining up and beard trims. I use the Babyliss ones at work but I've borrowed the Andis T Outlines from coworkers before and they're great. Zero gap those babies and your lines will be crisppp.

Did you go with a shorter cylinder? My current chair has a minimum seat height of 18 inches and my feet can just barely felt flat on the floor so I think I should be ok.

I'm a 5'4" woman and love the Embody chair. If you have concerns about the seat height you can request a shorter cylinder.

I had an aeron prior to the pandemic which I liked but I wanted something I could game in as well, so I gave that to my husband and picked out the embody. It’s more loungy and feels like a big hug. Could not be happier and I have had zero back issues despite now WFH in it full time.

Awesome. Yeah I like the idea of just having the feeling of sitting on a throne and The embody looks like it would do that better compared to the fern.

I am a smaller woman and I’m in LOVE with my embody chair. I tried out loads and this was the one for me. I’m a bit taller and a bit heavier but it’s so adjustable, I feel very “tucked in” and can sit cross legged in it if I want.

I don’t have a gaming version, just the regular.

When you say daily use on construction sites what do you mean? Are you doing the work or are you in oversight? BIFL for an engineer will be much different than BIFL for a ground man.

Joining in on the Lenovo recs. I have seriously abused my Lenovo p51 for the past 5 years. Like running multiple heavy duty programs on it at the same time all day every day. I used to have a MacBook and the Lenovo has definitely stood up to heavy use better and longer.

OP, you're looking for two different things. Find the jacket you like, then layer the lightest-weight large-size hi-vis vest you can find. Trying to do both will severely limit your options. Good luck!
