Reply to comment by abarthsimpson in I know it's a cliché around here, but my Saddleback Leather satchel is over 10 years old and has a quarter million air miles on it, mostly shoved under a seat. It does not lead a sheltered life and it's in fantastic shape. by is_it_on
On mine it's behind the id window so my ID covers it.

Thred Up is also an excellent place to get Pendleton. I got a Pendleton wool blazer and wool flannel for 60$ total and i always filter for used like new or new with tags so the items always look brand new!

I have the thin too, I actually got a tear in the id window after seven years. I emailed to ask about repair instructions and they just asked me what color I wanted my new one to be. So now my kid has a wallet!

Man… I’ve had more than one best friend already and I wish they were all BIFL. For such empathetic creatures it’s sad we lose them so soon. I always feel I’m not worthy of them.

I also have this exact same version of this bag. Mine is around 7 years old and a lighter color... love it so much! Use it daily for work and when I travel. Only thing I do not care for is the long heavy strap, but only use when travelling so not a big issue.

Lol I wasn’t sure if the hype was real or if they just pay a lot of money for marketing but after extensive research I think I’m going with them

Any Amish or Mennonites live near you? If so, shop where they do.
