Nice. My wife gave me a chef knife prior to our wedding. It is still my primary knife 26 years later

Recently got a Haworth Zody chair. It is built like a freaking tank and is easily the most comfortable task chair I’ve ever sat in. They make great products (in Michigan!)

Good kitchen knives are worth their weight in gold I always say. Of course knowing how to use them safely is very important. But they make life so much easier in the kitchen.

I love that you're a turtle owner who actually gives the animal an appropriate enclosure size. But why is it so barren?

Plus they aren't that expensive either! Compared to something like Bed Bath & Beyond they are like 1/3 of the price

I've heard the same, although I'm kind of on the fence about the complaints. They shifted to using leather with visible scars and defects and that ticked a bunch of people off. They see it as paying the same price for a lower quality item. Including those marks doesn't affect the strength or durability of the leather, so to my mind it both adds uniqueness and results in less waste.
I'm just happy that I never have to buy a satchel again. This thing is part of my life story now and I can always count on it.
I'll get some more pics tomorrow. I'm glad people appreciate it!

came here to say exactly this. I will also say that the larger bath sheet is the way to go if you want to really feel luxurious.

I think the issue is the change in quality in the past 5 years prior to you buying yours. From what I've heard. I do not have one, but would love one. Also more pics pls

Thank goodness they come bag-shaped now, it's such a hassle stuffing an entire cow under the airplane seat

People with these bags tend to talk about them a lot. The fact that mine is ten years old and has seen use is maybe a little unique but otherwise I figure the bifl community spends a lot of time hearing about them.

I wish dogs were truly BIFL, one of our dogs passed away las year at 16yo. Got it for my wife as a puppy when we were still dating! He was the runt of the liter and left as the last one bc he only had a stump of a tail, ended looking like a corgi/Aussie mix but.

...I've had the same Microplane for 13 years and it grates just as well as it did when it was new (and it took the pad off one of my fingers because I was careless).
I guess I lucked out!
