I'll admit I'm also a little iffy on the cargo pockets, however it looks like they have some without it. Any thoughts on their other makes?

It does cover wear, I wore through the crotch of mine and a hole finally appeared (after 4 years of at least 2x wear a week.) and I took them into the local retail location and they told me I could either send them in for repair or to go pick a new pair off the shelf. I chose the latter. Two minutes for a quick exchange receipt and I was on my way. I’ve since bought 5 more pairs and wear nothing else. Had one problem with a hole in the right front pocket of a pair, once again exchanged with no question.

Edit: I understand they also have an online option for defect and warranty replacement, I’ve just never used it.

Look nice, any particular make that you recommend? Looks like some of them from their pictures almost have a cathartt type material

How does the lifetime warranty work? Does it cover wear, and do they tend to honor it?

Yup. 5.11 pants are by far the comfiest pants I've worn while giving me the most mobility and looking like normal pants that I could wear to an office.

With that being said, they are a super "tacticool" based company, and sometimes it can be hard trying to figure out what pants are good online. they are also expensive unless you get them on sale.

I recently started wearing Vuori and have since replaced most of my wardrobe. Their Meta chinos are a great everyday office choice, almost feels like you’re naked, but they’re super durable. Also for t shirts I wear the strato tech almost every day

My experience admittedly is just my uncle who has one for as long as I could remember and my dad being a corporate pilot worked for a lot of Uber wealthy people and when he wasn't flying they always had him doing random shit, trying to fix their sub zeros in their various houses ended up being a big part of his job. Condensers/fans/compressors went out on them, no more often (probably less often) then on a consumer fridge, but the repair costs were much much higher. $2k repair calls weren't out of the question from what I recall. It's been probably 5+ years though so maybe things have changed.

Idk where you are you getting prices over $20k, maybe a wide built-in with every option, my full size side-by-side was under $10k not so long ago and the only thing I have replaced is a $65 water filter every six months or so. However there are plenty of folk paying much higher than this where I live, so there certainly is demand for Sub Zero refrigerators in the range you mention.

I don't think too many people there are going to be in the market for $15-25k fridges.

Also, while subzero makes great stuff, it is expensive to maintain. A fridge may very well be BIFL, but expect to spend the cost of a typical consumer grade fridge on repairs and maintenance every 5 years.

I have the same machine, after 13 yrs I decided to upgrade only because I wanted a new machine. I went out and bought another Delonghi fully automatic with the milk frothier. Spent $2,000. 5 months in it had issues; in the end I had to return it. Now I’m without a coffee machine. Sad

My spouse prefers Patagonia performance twill jeans. They come in a good range of colors and are slimmer fit. He skateboards in them and wears them to work, they look great. He has them in every color and it’s all he wears.

Western Rise. I have 3 pairs of evolution and 1 pair of diversion (a bit heavier and more tapered). People really like their AT too.

I can travel for weeks with just a few pair, wear with tee shirt, button down, or sweatshirt. Especially the evolution do well in warmth (though I wear diversion in summer heat too), but also a nice job cutting wind.

I was checking and looks like they have a sale on pants right now.

My parents house has a Gaggenau gas cooktop from the 1980’s and a steam oven they bought in 2005, both are still in regular use. I think the cooktop is pre-Bosch and Gaggenau is a very old German brand established back in the 17th century. Oh and their steam ovens are amazing, I bought one ten years ago.

Almost all Bosch and Siemens household appliances are identical. ( u/GizatiStudio: Gaggenau is a BSH brand too!).
