Yes pretty much. When I was a kid I loved the Matrix and me and my friends would all dress up im trench coats and play with Nerf guns or water guns. One of my neighbors called the cops on us because they thought we looked like the Columbine shooters.

Wow, more of these exist still? My parents have these and still use them. We had the blue one growing up and my dad acquired the brown when my grandma moved to a seniors complex.

Maybe it's one of those brandless Taiwanese fans. It might have a make on the bottom label. I wouldn't call tose BIFL because they can get bearing issues but they have good performance.

I spent entirely too much time researching HVAC brands in preparation for replacing our units this year.

Spent a lot of time over at r/HVAC and r/hvacadvice.

The biggest takeaway I got was that all the major brands are pretty darn similar at the end of the day, and that 80% of it is the quality of the install by the company, and the warranty. Also what is popular in your area matters, because you need parts to be available quickly if there is ever an issue. One area may do a lot more of a certain brand than another part of the country.

Lennox in particular is sort of seen as the Mercedes of HVAC. Lots of bells and whistles, but expensive and maybe not as reliable/harder to repair. Not inherently bad just a different niche.

Also for anything above ~15 SEER efficiency, make sure you look up a SEER calculator to assess whether you will ever see a return on the extra investment. A lot of times you won't. Life expectancy is ~10-15 years these days. The more efficient units are arguably less reliable, as they are more complex, as well.

For the other bells and whistles such as 2-stage/variable stage, know that you are paying extra for potentially better comfort, not so much any long term savings.

Just mentioning for the good of the order™️, that the coat that a stereotypical school shooter wears is a duster, not a trench coat.

Separated from first wife in '93 and bought this set from Sears around 900 bux...this was when Maytags were made like..well..err..Maytags. In the almost 30 years I've used them, they outlast wife #2 and a couple GFs. Only 2 repairs the whole time...dryer belt broke which I replaced myself for $15 part, and the washer started vibrating, so I paid some guy off CL to replace a bushing that the agitator rides on. Can't remember, but probably $100 or less. It's huge too and has been fully packed many times, although I try not to overfill it anymore, lol

I tried to find a name on it, it just says 12” oscillating fan. Now that I look at it closer it doesn’t look exactly like yours- the center is just a large chrome disc.

Contrary to what many think they remember, Neo’s trench coat in the first film isn’t made of leather. It appears to be some matte tactical/performance material. Maybe even just cotton.

In fact, none of the outwear he wears in the original trilogy is leather. I don’t blame you for thinking that, though. Many of the other characters did have leather or leather-like coats.

These are very related to Sanyo fans, they use some of the same parts.

I love Columbia's jackets that are fleece lined, but the fleece also zips out. I have had the same one for almost 10 years and I'm always zipping the fleece out to wear it alone. Although it might be a bit above your budget, I'd look for something along those lines.

I’m sure people here would be wearing them if they were as accessible to us as they are for Europeans. We have barely any good reproduction or surplus French coats in America, I’ve looked.

Reminds me of the Sanyo sleepmaker, same vintage and style, still works perfect after 40 or 50 years

My Grandfather bequeathed to me an ivory handled razor and brush. It was exquisite and worth thousands. It unfortunately got lost in a house move :(
