Gotcha. Seems most larger companies are going all single hand the last 10-15 years. But our west here, it’s tough to get slick singlehands on alloys so rigs are starting to become more prevalent. I’ve been in the rig market for about 25 years, so I’ve seen a bit of change. MT, WY, CO, ND are still pretty good markets for trucks due to remote projects and rental equipment availability. Hope you are happy in the trade!

Try a Leaf! It has a pivoting head and makes for a really comfortable shave on the bikini line. I had a Merkur before and felt the same as you and switched back to disposables. No matter how careful I was I couldn't get as good a shave as I wanted in that area. I've had the Leaf for a year now, and it was a game changer. I've not even nicked myself once with it.

Edit: Just don't expect much from the Leaf blades. They're okay for like one shave before they dull. Grab some Astras or Nacets.

The Ego, you mean obviously. Honda has a monster throw.

That’s a pity. I was hoping they’d have improved more the way EV cars have.

Just to confirm, we’re talking about the 2 stage Ego snowblower, right? That have a single stage which is seriously weak; it was their first try and it really didn’t do much.

Edit: I have an Aries 28” that I’ve had for 6 years. I’ve had to replace belts and obviously change oil but it has worked relatively well. I have been eyeing going electric with my mower and snowblower. Mowers are about there but super pricey and snowblowers - well, I’m not sure about them.

If I were buying a snowblower knowing what I know now, I’d buy a Honda over an Ariens. They just last forever - as close to BIFL as you can get.

We literally just discovered Nirvanna Designs and their stuff is amazing. It’s all handmade in Nepal for fair wages. Everything is 100% wool and most are lined with fleece. Seems super high quality. They were at a holiday market in NYC and we both bought hats, scarves and mittens. My hubby got a baseball cap style. There may be a tiny tag but no logo. Mostly neutral colors.

Just bought pillow cube pillows on black Friday after reading some recommendations on this sub. I'm a side and back sleeper (go to sleep on my side and wake up either on my back or my side). So far I haven't had any issues and neither has my wife. We've both had respiratory infections since the day before they got here so our nights haven't been very sleep filled regardless.
