Make sure you check the frame for rust. There were several years of that truck recalled because the rust preventative wasn't applied correctly to the frame.

For some reason, my son (15 y/o) wanted a fountain pen. Luckily I held off from buying at the local Staples, and instead found JetPens from their YouTube videos. He chose a Kaweco fountain pen, and I got myself a Kaweco Sport ball pen and some mechanical pencils. I couldn't justify the really nice $70 metal one for myself, though.

The second generation of tundras (made after 2007) were notoriously less reliable than the first generation. If you want a second generation tundra, get 2010 or newer.

2007 was the first year of the 2nd generation. Most people like to avoid the first model year for vehicles because the "bugs" haven't been worked out yet.

FWIW, I had a 2003 years ago and it was a great truck.

Without pictures, what you're paying for it, and how you intend to use it, theres no real way to provide input of any value.

Sure Toyotas are known for lasting a long time, and parts are readily available, but there are a lot of additional factors before deciding on any particular vehicle.

Good god, that second bag you linked does things to me...

Man if I had a healthy wealthy level of disposable income lol.

Oh well, I've got a thrifted everki, a thrifted tom bihn, and a $40 nylon/canvas molle bag that's expandable that will probably last forever. Great for long trips, or less long trips, but a bit heavy. I also recently picked up a Trek backpack that I THOUGHT was one of those waterbladder ones but apparently is just a nice backpack that's got a mesh suspension frame so it's not heating up your back all day. Also kind of heavy. Neat tho.

I'd probably still keep a few of these even with something like the hulmeco linked, but dammit if I wouldn't NEED to, or care if they got destroyed or anything. They'd just become the beaters lol. It would also be cool to be able to leave things for a son or grandson if this economy ever unfucks itself.

Jetpens has a fantastic selection of several styles which are all better than the ones you find in the stationary section. Art stores also often have a better selection of them too! Mine is by Faber-Castelle, but it does not have a shavings catcher.
