I don’t know if LV quality went down but so far haven’t had a good experience neither with their wallet nor with their key holder. Threads are everywhere and the button on a key holder has peeled off and looks garbage.
Coach wallets are way cheaper but have top-notch quality, imo.

Second this. Coach wallets are durable, last long, and look like new, too.

There are gendered wallets??? Bifold isn't the only kind?? I thought the rest were just coin purses...

I got my girlfriend a Louis Vuitton wallet for Christmas in 2018. Still like new to this day!

Reply to My fellow Canadians, I need help finding the perfect pillow. I am a side sleeper, sleeping on medium firm mattress by wkosloski
Not too sure if it's too late or not, but as a fellow Canadian, I too have had issues
with pillows not standing up. I was getting a lot of headaches and my neck/back was always killing me. Sitting at a desk hunched over all day doesn’t help. At one point I even bought a “MyPillow”. Useless.
I started reading some pillow comments on Amazon and came across this:
https://www.amazon.ca/Memory-Foam-Pillow-Oreiller-King-Queen/dp/B07PYRL8QM/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=EnerPlex&qid=1669835725&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjYxIiwicXNhIjoiMi40OSIsInFzcCI6IjEuOTAifQ%3D%3D&rnid=5264023011&s=kitchen&sr=1-1&th=1
What I like is that you can adjust the firmness. My wife and I each got one. She kept hers full, I ended up taking out some of the stuffing. The first couple of days the smell of the pillows was a little much, but still fine. After about 3 days, WHAM. They were amazing. We got these in July so more than 4 months ago. Headaches are waaaay down. Sleeping comfort is waaaay up. We're giving some to our kids for Christmas. Not cheap, but not pricey, considering you'd pay anything for a great sleep.
Anyhow, my 2 cents worth.

Yeah, that's why I'm confused. I picked the ohana. Pretty sure I got the size right too. How would you describe how they feel to you?
CaddywampusMagpie t1_iyec195 wrote
I've been wearing Olu Kais leather styles for about a decade now. For me, they have always broken in and felt much more comfortable after a few days to a week of wear. You might have to try on a few pairs in the same size to find one with a comfortable thong for you. I've noticed a very slight variance from pair to pair, probably from the nature of hand crafting. Some are tighter than others.
For me, the thong part of any flipflop is the part that fails. I have never had an issue with their soles. You can get them repaired through their website and I've had a good experience with that. I've only needed to use it once though.
The arch support is unmatched in terms of flipflop brands I've tried. The leather does break in really well. I've never had an issue with their leather dye staining my feet. My leather ones usually last me about 2-3 years of (almost) daily wear from about March to October. I usually get a new pair for daily wear and the older pair becomes garage/checking the mail shoes. I could probably wear them longer but they do start looking worn by the end of year 2 and not as nice for going out.
Compared to buying multiple pairs of cheapo plastic flipflops every year, I think they're worth the price and quality. Hope this helps!

Mine were pretty comfortable from the start - that's one of the main reasons why I bought them.
For reference, I have the Ohana's which are rubbery. I can't speak to their leather ones which might be different.
For comparison though, I had the rainbow sandals with the leather bottoms and those definitely felt very woody, and even after a year I didn't feel like they got any better. Maybe with more time they would have improved but the sole started to split about a year in, so I never got to find out.

My wife likes Kate Spade, and her stuff has always been good. Bought her a KS wallet almost 15 years ago and it still going strong.
If you want something a little less fasion and little bit better build quality, check out saddleback leather / love 41 (husband designs saddle back leather, wife designs love 41).

They won't win any design award, but having spent more than I care to admit to on SB and L41 products over the years I can tell you they are all absolutely fucking bullet proof.

I have a Kavu wallet that I bought years ago. I bought it at an airport (not sure which one), so it was probably more expensive than it needed to be. I've probably had it 8-10 years.

I have a smaller version of this wallet and I love it (I also have a purse that has held up to indelicate handling lol). I also regularly use a little card holder I purchased from coach eons ago that still looks new.

https://www.thehouseofflynn.com/collections/wallets I got it because it fits a Happy Planner Skinny Classic size planner in it... And though I've not really been using the planner side for a while I still have some HP discs with some envelopes from HP to have cash and other goodies (There is enough room without it but I like the envelopes)
The one I have is velvet so won't last as long as a leather one but I've had a few years and there is JUST the slight signs of wear!

I have a Dooney & Bourke wallet that I bought from their outlet a couple of years ago at a discount and it looks like I bought it yesterday. I expect to have it for a long time.

Check out wallets from Portland Leather Goods. They have a 30% off sale going on right now. After that, their sale reverts to 20%/25% off (it’s always ongoing). They use full grain leather. I have some purses and they take a beating very well.

Probably the model you selected. Ohana’s feel pretty good out of the box but I have low arches so eventually the arch support compresses and then they’re perfect. All shoes break in to some extent.

Yeah, I like the arch support but does the cushioning get better? I felt they were very hard and woody when I tried them.

Another person for Fossil. My wife’s Fossil wallet has lasted 10 years and shows no sign of falling apart anytime soon.
