Snapware from Costco! I agree the nesting glass ones chip. The snapware completely seal, lasts forever (I’ve had mine a long time). Costco seems to always carry it so you can replace a set if some disappear. And they stack well.

Thanks for caring for some rescue dogs. Be remiss if I didn't mention that vinyl has a lot of nasty off gassing. Maybe consider tile or if it's a concrete slab home just stain and seal the existing concrete.

As for solar that's something that would require a lot of research. There is no one best choice as it depends on end goals (offset existing bill or go completely off grid). You'll need to research local installers directly.

Hi. I have been trying to research as much as possible. I'm not sure why the list is ridiculous. I don't expect every person to answer every item on the list. I was hoping that if, for example, someone found dish towels that actually dry dishes, they could share that with me. And just that. Perhaps I should have spelled that out. Live and learn.

Thinner stainless, likely a lower grade or poorly alloyed stainless, and not charcoal filled liners anymore. Also, poor quality control and checks (at least this used to be the case. I can’t speak to the newer ones).

Hi. I couldn't find a bunch of the things I was looking for in the search, so I took the list I had been working on for the last 6 months and put a bunch of it here in the hope some people were decent humans. There seems to be a few who have been helpful, so I'm thankful for them.

It's unfortunate how narrow and judgmental some people can be but I get it and try to use it as a reminder to apologize when I do the same. I'll keep this up a little longer in case a few more decent people come along, then ill take the suggestions and be on my way.

We just put in vinyl plank flooring last year and it looks a lot like wood. It is not my first choice but we have and will always have large hairy dogs and it is durable and easy to clean. I would get a Rubbermaid floor duster for the dog hair. Works great and quick. BTW: Kackjelly is right on good quality house supplies. You can't go wrong with Pyrex and Lodge cast iron but there is a learning curve and be sure and learn how to properly season it. Makes all the difference.

espresso cups are great for zojirushi coffee. cools fast but you can drink it quickly and then refill.

I have one from 1980 if I'm reading my date stamps right, very similar to your 1969 one. I found it at a thrift store about 12 years ago and it's still in great shape (minus one small dent on the base from when I dropped it).
