I’m not sure if they ship everywhere, but my favourite high quality ethical brand is AYM Studios. They’re based in the UK, and their tops in particular are excellent quality. Their stuff is usually double layered sustainably sourced bamboo fabric and they are incredibly supportive to the point I can happily wear them without a bra. The double layering also makes them an excellent choice for cold weather. I currently have 2 of their short sleeve fitted t shirts, a wrap top, 2 long sleeve crop tops and I’ve just ordered a new turtleneck they’re taking pre orders for.

Their styles definitely won’t be for everyone though as they’re all very fitted designs. For loser fits I’d also recommend Organic Basics, Everlane and Uniqlo.

Unless you are wearing it in the coal mine, it should hold up just fine, but make no illusions that this is a lifetime or close purchase. ONS is a men’s store, but that shouldn’t matter for t-shirts right? Stands for One nice shirt, they make very nice t-shirts that last forever. I have been wearing only their t shirts for about 10 years and they do not stain or get rips, or loose colour from wash. They are also very soft. Once you try their t shirts you won’t want to wear other brands. Most of the brands people have listed are durable, but not comfortable.

When there’s a hole, if it’s small enough, I use a circular band aid. A bit larger, and I use the adhesive sections of the a regular long band aid.

You need something that’s sticky and designed to stay on when wet. So I’ve seen freezer/duct tape used as well.

I felt this comment deeply. I ended up replacing my hinges and latch with a much more durable latch I found on Amazon for cheap. Has held up under heavy use for a few years now.

All of these have been tested by me to -30°F (-34°C) ambient with wind and have kept coffee hot for at least 8 hours. In warmer temps and coffee is too hot to drink from morning to night. I put ice water in them in the summer and even at 95°F (35°C) and 70% humidity they still have ice in them after 12 hours. To me that’s flawless.

When do bottles stop working flawlessly, tho? Stanley's aren't great at maintaining temps and it's not like it's going to stop holding liquid
