As the husband of a 1st grade teacher, don’t buy her any school related stuff unless she specifically asks for it. It’s about the equivalent of buying a stay at home wife a dishwasher. I would encourage you to try and find something that is of her interest to help her escape her day job. Being a school teacher is hard and they deserve to have time to enjoy there lives outside of school. Best of luck to you and yours. Cheers!!

Christmas probably isn’t the time for stationary supplies for school. At least not as the main gift. I don’t know maybe I’m wrong but it could be risky.

Nothing is happening on my desk\tables out of the ordinary :P
I wasn't looking for the grippy bottom or anything, i just went to reorder the plain stainless one i had gotten before off amazon and they had added some features that were a bit different compared to most other tumblers.
I'm sure the rubber grip on the bottom might never save a spilt drink if it ever came down to it but maybe it will.

I tried one before I got my thermoflask and it leaked down my shirt, I think the modern ones have better gaskets

Sounds good and all but if you don't mind my asking. What exactly is happening on your tables and desks where it's nice to have finally found an insulated cup that you don't have to worry about sliding around all over the place?
: D

Piece of shit.
First, having the ground pin at the bottom is inherently less safe than the converse.
Second, cheapo 6 gang things are just asking for some dipshit to come along and overload stuff.
Third, as mentioned by /u/costabius, surge protectors have short finite lifetime.

Same as everyone's flasks they paid way more for as almost all of them are almost the same.

I love my zojirushi! My mom did a bunch of research and it is insane how well it keeps liquids hot. I swear it is imbued with magic.

I picked up a thermoflask at Goodwill last week and am so impressed with it, it keeps my coffee hot for hours as opposed to minutes in my old plastic jumbo mug, any thoughts on the thermoflasks? I only paid three bucks

The yeti style seems great for home use.
I've got a few ozzark trail ones for at home, the last one i bought came with textured paint on the outside and even a rubber bottom that works awesome to help not slide around on coffee tables\desks. Its damn grippy.

Mine is between 40-50 years old and still going strong. I keep it in a cupboard and am starting to think it’s getting too heavy for me.

I've gone through 2 of these. The top shatters so easily from short drops. Compared to my hydroflask, this feels like it's made of glass.

Bosch always comes up as a solid brand but I have their dishwasher and it just...doesn't wash anything? I basically just hand wash and use it to rinse. Sad :(

I like the YETI tumbler, if only for the magnetic lid. I have the Zojirushi like OP's, but I'll be damned if I can immediately start drinking coffee after a fresh pour. For that reason alone, the YETI is my daily use tumbler.

That 14 oz Yeti I got for home use does the job. I do like that the lid is easier to clean and less involved than the Zoji. That and one of my cars doesn't have a cupholder so it sits nicely on the passenger floor.

I find it quite nice since otherwise you end up with the xx brand 16oz tumbler pro edition 2022 with the coffee spout and extra grip cover.
Or the xx brand 16tpcg
one is much easier for me to google for later as its exact.
