I have 3 pairs of Birkenstocks and absolutely love them. My Arizona pair is still in a great shape after five years of everyday use. For outdoor trips, I use Teva sandals, tried Reefs before, but they fell apart after one season, however the Reef flip flops of my husband survived 10 years.

A good leather belt doesn't have seams along which to fall apart. It is just one big thick piece of veg tan leather with a hefty buckle on one end (there may be stitching where the belt is folded over to fasten the buckle but it should be heavy duty saddle stitching).

The best belts are oak bark tanned leather. If you google oak bark tanned leather belts you should be able to find a craftsperson in your country making them to order. It will cost more than the belts you have been buying but should last forever.

That said I also have a couple of belts from high street stores which have held up well, but they are also one piece of real full grain leather.

I’ll look for a vendor. They might also have some insight on the Bluetooth stuff :) thanks for that idea. It had some coins in it already and I used about $45. I used to pay to have my clothes laundered and pressed so $45 in a week of laundry felt like nothing hopefully it’ll be free from now on. I noticed they had these washers and dryers at the cleaner I went to so I figured they’re the way to go :)

Definitely Yeti. Have had mine for six years and have dropped it on concrete/rock more times than I could count. Just one dime sized dent on it. The newer ones aren’t so heavy, but definitely more so than other options. Nalgene does not insulate so you can’t leave it in the sun or put hot liquid in it, which renders it useless imo. Hydro flasks dent all to hell, but I believe they’re cheaper than Yeti.

Like already said, either Nalgène container (plastic), or a Klean Kanteen (steel). I got a Reflect and I can hammer posts wihtout problems when it's full of water.

If you don't want to break the bank, but still want something good, look up Crazy Horse leather belt on etsy. It's good leather. Or you can dm me and I can make you a good one for $50 plus shipping. I have gray and brown currently. The gray is buffalo and the brown is saddle leather.

I have always purchased Wamsutta. They have both cotton and a cotton blend. They last well, are thick, and do not fade much. My oldest ones are from the 70’s. That said, expect to use them 15-20 years. We wash everything in cold water. I use Lysol Laundry, Tide and Clorox 2. Nothing ever fades. Dry on medium heat. If a thread pulls, cut it and tie it off, then cut the ends short. Fixes the problem of runs. I purchased mine from BBBY but they are available in other chains and on Amazon as well. The company has a long history of good quality.
