It sounds like the cord on your heater may have gotten damaged. The best thing you can do is try and inspect the cord and plug regularly - any cuts, tears, kinks, or abrasions on the cord mean it needs to be replaced. Any heater will be susceptible to damage, so in this case I don't think the heater itself was at fault.

Try Nudie Jeans. They do life time free repairs on there jeans. Super impressed by the quality. They can be bought for £20 online second hand or about £200 new. Highly recommend.

Massive fan of my yetis, they have totally held up compared to my cheaper bottles of the past which are completely dead but the yetis look pretty much brand new. For coffee though the yeti with a hotshot cap is fantastic, totally leak proof like I can shake this thing and not a drop, 4 hours upside down in my backpack and still no leakage

Hydroflask was doing a 40% off sale a few days ago. Mine is easy to clean and has last several years.

Thanks for this recommendation. I still use my old ones (original logo), and they easily surpass the Yeti’s, Hydroflasks, etc of the world.

Oh I dumped the water on him and called him an asshole.
He told a supervisor on me but when I made it clear we could either both walk away or if happily get him fired for destroying my personal property he shut up fast.

Buy a used Herman miller aeron chair. They are modular and you can even upgrade the features on them if the one you buy is the base version with parts on eBay.
If you’re diligent at searching you can score them for under $200

They're not cheap, but I like Ogio backpacks.
The upfront cost is more than offset by the fact that you won't have to buy another for a very long time.

I had a similar situation with their appliance repair people. They charged me twice for the same service and wouldn't hear of correcting it.

Yes! eventually I want to get my brain to understand knitting again for items that don't translate well to crochet but I'm not quite there yet. I've got a pretty good handle on sewing, just have to find a good machine and learn it. its feels great to not rely on stores for so many things and have the ability to remake things on my own rather than contribute to further waste!

I always build my own garage/shop shelving. 2x4s and some plywood make for some VERY sturdy shelves and work benches. It’s easy too. I did a 16’ workbench in a weekend by myself, then my husband helped me do floor to ceiling shelving the next Saturday. In less than a month our garage went from cluttered to showroom-clean.

I made a matching living room pillow and blanket set to stave off boredom one winter and it’s much fancier than anything I could’ve purchased. Plus bag holders, chair pads, sweaters, etc. It’s such a useful skill, right up there with sewing!

I had an ikea bed last me ten years. Finally started falling apart after being disassembled/moved for the 3rd time. I was able to salvage all the drawer slides though, so now I have some sweet new drawers for my shed!
