Then what is the toaster oven actually doing to “eat” your piece of toast?
myredditaccount80 t1_j8monsh wrote
Why would any toaster oven damage bread? A slice toaster sure, but not seeing how a toaster oven could do this.

How did you manage to save the foam packing insert for so long??

You're right, I found a 6" chefs knife that is comfortable for me and I do nearly everything with it. The only other knife I use often is a serrated bread knife.

Yep, Bosch is one of the best brands out there. "I can't wash jeans in the washing machine so i will buy another washing machine" is the stupidest comment ever. Even the most basic cheapest washing machine should be able to clean those with no problems. The real problem comes with wool and other pretentious materials. But Samsung, LG, AEG, Whirlpool, Miele are more than fine. OP should just check his washing machine IMO. There should be a bigger problem somewhere.

These simple 1 button ones last forever! My mom had 3 classic National brands, and none of them broke in my lifetime (I’m 53), mom has passed on, and now my sister and niece own them! I’ve had other ones that I eventually gave away to my kids or thrift stores because I’ve cut back on rice, or I use my Ninja Foodi pressure cooker to meal prep brown rice nowadays.
Right now I’m living in Bangkok, and just bought a similar type as picture for only $10usd! 😁

I have some men's Merona tees that fit me just like that and have been going stong for 10 years. They came in a 3 pack. they are stretchy, the collar is not too big, and the fabric has not changed much over the years.

Folks here might turn their nose up, but I swear by the Costco Kirkland brand boxer briefs. They're very comfortable, and last as long as any other undies I've ever owned. I've had synthetic undies that lasted longer, but I prefer cotton for comfort. And they're $11 for a three pack.

Phone companies intentionally slow down older phone models with software updates, I remember reading recently that some smart phone company has a hidden setting where you can switch for your phone to save your cpu or battery life as it ages. You can get a sturdy smart phone but it will be slow as shit eventually and unbearable.

A lot of folks still use Craigslist.

I rocked my first 3 pairs for over 10 years. They were the best by far. I have had several iterations of the same give-n-gos since and none have performed as well. A couple seemed close, but none hit that bar. I am actively searching for the next great pair myself.

Hey! I know this field! (User name) there’s a manufacturer called “next level” that’s what I used for my garments and 10 years later people still tell me how they wear their OG shirt. Hope this helps!

We have the Maytag 575 commercial residential set and they are fantastic. I have no complaints. Apparently I was so happy w the set that my SIL bought the same one for their house, she loves it too!
Good luck!

Seconding the Saxx recomendation. I got them after seeing a recomendation here, have been wearing two pairs for the past two years and they are as good as new. Always sad when I arrivee at my non-Saxx underwear in the rotation.

The bottom is inadequate to hold the toast, so it would get partially sucked into the lower area and was impossible to retrieve.
It was a toaster top and oven bottom. A horrible design I’ll never get again
