Hmm. I read that as they didn't want to hire an excavator so they used eggshells as fill.

Ashland leather. They've got chunky wallets, small wallets, big flat wallets etc. etc.. All made in the US of A (Chicago) out of Horween leather.

Sneakers aren’t really built to last a long time. Maybe look into hiking shoes.

The big thing for me with yeti vs off brand is the seals.
I went with off brand stuff for a few years and the results were always awful. Not the actual metal container themselves but the seals . Most of them you can’t even take off and clean properly , so after a few months they’re disgusting or if you take the seals off you can’t get them back on. Yeti’s make that way easier. I’ll never use another brand , so long as the quality holds up.

Listen asshat, if you want advice on the internet, you get advice. Don't read the advice and then berate the advisor. It wasn't the advice you wanted, but the advice you need to hear. If you want a BIFL bedframe, state your location, budget and desires and get answers to your question.
At this stage, you have gotten conflicting help on your choice so you cannot make an educated choice. Try using my advice. Or don't. Or continue being a asshat.

I think he went to Camp Coffee, where the grounds are notoriously raised and unkempt. Without the eggshells, he wouldn't be here today. The eggshells are the only thing to settle the grounds at Camp Coffee.

Had Timberland Brookling 6 Inch (x Wood Wood version) since 2019 as my daily winter boots, still looks pretty much brand new if you don't count slight amount of dirt on the sole (been too lazy to clean 'em regularly)

Shoes degrade more quickly when used daily as they don't have time to dry properly and such, thus rotating is good. For example, you can get 2 pairs of shoes that'd normally last a year, but by rotating them you can double their lifespans.
Still got shoes I got 5 years ago which look great besides the slight dirtiness. Those would've broken years ago if I didn't have rotation.
Edit: Forgot to add that you can just go for some reputable brand shoes you like, get 2 pairs of those and switch them up every day (can get different pairs as well). Mostly just focus on comfort
