I ended up getting the Cambridge Silversmiths Beacon Mirror set, it's 18/0 steel, but I haven't had any issues with durability and they have a 25 year warranty. Macy's sells the 20 piece set for $40.

Another thing I recommend is to just search 18/10 on a restaurant supply or department store website and look for good deals. Cambridge Silversmiths Rachel Mirror set is 18/10 steel and is also $40 for a 20 piece set

Note that while they are built well, they can be kind of a pain, they're over 18 inches tall so they probably won't fit in the fridge or under cabinets unless you get the travel size one. They also aren't ANSI or NSF certified, even though they claim to exceed the relevant ANSI and NSF standards, which just feels like a red flag to me, not to mention that people have had issues reproducing their claimed results. Their website is also pretty sketchy, it feels very prepper/truther-centric

Just a note that even “washable” wool isn’t going to mean you can do whatever you want and it will specify exactly the types of washers and cycles that it is safe with and you still have to air dry it.

I went with a camel wool comforter here. Mainly due to being washable and cheaper than many other options I looked at. I have an organic cotton duvet cover from I believe Boll & Branch but I could be mistaken on that. I also got their organic cotton sheet set and pillow covers.

My only complaint is I don’t love the whole duvet + duvet insert deal. Mine does have ties on all four corners and they work but I think it they should make it with 6 or 8 ties instead (I had a weighted blanked that was like this and was great) and I also would rather have a zip up duvet cover like the ones from AllergyCare or The Company Store instead of just button up however the former one apparently doesn’t have any ties inside at all and I am unsure about the latter as a reviewer said it didn’t but an FAQ said it did and neither of them offer colors which sucks because I have little interest in white or unbleached cotton colored bedding.

Are they more thick/rigid/stiff or more flexible? I don’t do anything particularly active and don’t like wearing a tight belt so I wear one of those cloth belts that has the two rings that holds itself by tension or whatever (no holes) because it thin/flexible so as to not be than noticeable and I can easily adjust it. My experience with other belts is them being rigid and noticeable and you can’t really wear it loose because it will hold its shape whereas a cloth belt will just sit comfortably on your waist. I did have a leather belt that came from a thift store that we got for a halloween costume that has pretty flexible and supple but I am pretty sure it was a lot thinner than these.

I’ve just gone through that journey of finding one as well (though a backpack) and settled on bleu de chauffe. I found it to be a great balance between durability (without going overboard) and aesthetics for my more smart-casual look eg. https://www.bleu-de-chauffe.com/en/men/273-sac-postier-eclair-marinepain-brule-3700716002646.html

I’ve seen saddleback and Marlondo mentioned, and they definitely look sturdy, though they’re too rugged for me and my work
