Absolutely horrible. It's been sand blasted with desert storms. Eventually we will repaint it white

If you are looking for BIFL, I would recommend a horn comb. It's more expensive than a plastic one, but it will last a lifetime. Moreover, it does not get dirty (much less than a plastic one, anyway), it's gentler to the hair, nice to the touch, and it can be beautiful.

It was recommended to me on this sub, so this was sort of an update.

My 99 has roughly 160k on it. I don't drive it much though (the running joke is it hasn't seen a paved road in over a decade). Aside from clear coat issues...it's been relatively problem free in the 15 years I've had it.

4.0L's are actually known for averaging around 300,0000 miles between rebuilds.

Read the title of the sub again, moron.

Alaskan here. This aluminum shovel is what you’re looking for. They make a homeowner version that has less thick aluminum (i.e less weight)

The Wiim Mini bitperfekt streamer could be an option.

Not the same material of blade/scoop. Just looked at doing the same, the pusher versions are way more robust than the scoops. No personal use however, but the plastic seems more brittle.

How’s the clear coat holding up?

The instructions also say to turn them inside-out.

My papaw had a Kent comb that I received when he passed away. Since I was a kid, the teeth ended up getting messed up from misuse and then thrown away. I never knew the brand, only the color. Seeing your comb made me look it up and I can’t wait to get one now. He died when I was young but I hope to get one for him since I messed up his. Didn’t think a comb would make me cry tbh

If it only lasted five years it’s not exactly buy it for life material, now is it?

I have a Kent as well, I don't use it daily, I don't have enough hair. I use it when trimming my beard. The quality is great, the teeth never catch on the hair like the cheap one I had would.

Perhaps it depends on what you use them for. Darn Tough socks are probably amazing for wearing in work boots. I use Icebreaker for hiking, running and backcountry skiing. I have three pairs. The oldest is six years old and has been on around 50 skiing trips. Still going strong.

I will try some icebreakers. I have never worn a "footed" sock. Honestly Darn Tough socks are really spectacular for comfort and last a long long time. I have several pairs that are over 4 years old and going strong!

Maybe if you want lasting wool socks with a warranty, but I'm not very happy with the fit. Icebreaker wool socks with anatomic fit (for left and right foot) are in a completely different league and oh so comfortable that I don't mind that they don't come with a warranty. They still last a very long time if you don't wash them too often.

Reply to Sunrise alarm recommendations? by CutiePatootieLootie
I bought the HF3520 - used, was about two years old. I used it for another year then it started to misbehave. Sometimes it wouldn‘t light up or just turn off the light again after reaching max brightness. I loved it but I wouldn‘t buy it again.
That thing isn‘t able set the time via radio. Also if you lose power, you have to set the time again. No battery support whatsoever. I expect more - this product hasn‘t really evolved over the years yet they are pricey!
Now I bought a Philips Hue bulb and a bridge so I can use it as my sunrise alarm. Works like a charm and is even more versatile.

Not bad.. fairly lightly driven at only 7,000 miles per year.
Was it owned by someone older? I find they often drive very little and baby their vehicles.
