.32 rimfire is sometimes made for special competitions, plus you could reload, but it would be a huge pain in the ass.

It’s a fairly simple piece of tech that is mostly made by OEMs. But really it depends on your use case and what kind of outputs / codecs you need.
If you’re looking for more higher end “audiophile” type stuff, look into the iFi Zen Blue V2. Streams AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX LL, LDAC, HWA codecs over bluetooth 5.0.
Or Audioengine B1

I get it but not everyone is in the same situation all of the time or at all. Sometimes I shovel early or late as opposed to “normal.” Maybe I just prefer as much anonymity as possible but I just don’t need that shit.

I bought a Soundbot SB360 Bluetooth car kit in 2016 on amazon, and it's still working perfectly well to this day. It worked so well, bought my wife one as well, they both are perfectly fine today even with daily use
I live in Arizona, so it's tested through and through with extreme heat. Not too sure about extreme cold, though.
It is powered via USB, and plugs into a jack, might be perfect for your needs.

What’s the basis of your recommendation?

When everyone is out shoveling, a shovel thats a bit louder isn't going to annoy anyone lol

Already have the stereo system, it also has tape player, CD player and record player with decent collection. Having multiple speakers is nice in a large shop.

I learned this the hard way with some beautiful wool socks.

I’ll check my garage tomorow for you. I got this wide push shovel from Home Depot in 2017. I live in Chicago so plenty use. No issues still like new.

I've tried Darn Tough, Farm to Feet, and Cloudline. I found Farm to Feet the most comfortable, although my Cloudline order came with a nice handwritten note, and they were really nice and easy to work with when I had to return a wool base layer I bought from them (a gift, it didn't fit the recipient well).

Plastic parts wear. But metal will damage the asphalt. So….
My shovel is plastic with a metal strip out front. It’s about 6-7 years old and still going strong. Costco. Yes, the plastic will eventually wear thin. But that’s years and years in the future. The plastic isn’t thin and sharp, more rounded and thicker, so it’s durable and not really damaging anything.

Thorlo all the way.
Their Merino wool socks simply rule.

They all have Lycra or other synthetics to help them hold up. I’m still hoping to find more 100% wool socks that are BIFL, I have two pair I’m hanging on to but they are not common

I didn't slowly phase mine out, I broke down and bought 14 pair of darn Tough. I had my first pair fail a couple weeks ago. I haven't even opened all of mine yet, have about 8 pair in rotation

They are the best. I am slowly phasing out my cotton socks for work. I wear rubber boots all day. Darn Tough are the best.
