At some point the meme of taking a rifle out shooting that predates radio would outweigh the cost of the work to me. But im a self diagnosed gun nut, of course logically youre right.

Pfft, my Dad's multimeter is made out of Bakelite and is still going strong. It was handed down to him from his Dad - if you don't know what Bakelite is look it up to see how old this thing is.

I don't know much about reloading but have you considered loading your own .32 rimfire?
At least just enough to shoot this thing occasionally
