Great espresso machine. I’ve had ours almost twenty years and never had a problem with it.

Yeah, same here. I’ve been trying to really think about what cards I use regularly. It’s just nice to know that I can carry all my cards in the case I need to. What wallet are you using if you don’t mind me asking?

Never owned Shinola but the prices are fair and some/most/all is Horween leather. Nothing wrong with that!

Unquestionably at the top of the list is Merrell. But I was a little disappointed when I used a pair of the brand's sneakers. But overall it's okay.

“N.b.” is Latin. It stands for “nota bene”, which means “note well” — basically “pay attention to this part!”
PID is an electronic controller that stabilizes the brewing temp of an espresso machine. The abbreviation stands for “proportional integral derivative” but it’s mostly just referred to with the initials.
This is a quickly Googled link that explains it. Nicer machines have them, but often older ones can have them added.

Are Redback sizing the same as Blundstone. I'm a few years in on my Blundstones and figure I'll replace them soon.

I have a hotpoint I bought new in 1994? 1995? Still runs like a champ, never needed service.

I posted here 4 years ago about something similar and someone recommended A-Slim wallets and it’s in outstanding condition till this day. It’s a bit on the pricier side but I wouldn’t hesitate to replace it if I lost it. I see no reason it shouldn’t last another 15+ years. I do condition it once-twice a year just to care for it.

Sounds like hydrolysis. Usually that happens to shoes that are rarely worn. I had a pair of Salomon hiking boots fall apart like that in the middle of a hike after they sat in my closet for a year or two.

Easy to find at antique stores. I buy them frequently at $10. Clean and sanitize and they are ready to use. I use my grandfathers, probably 1940’s vintage, on a weekly basis.

The semantics mean nothing. The plan is for consumers to buy more often. Even the hardcore green environment people don’t “get” it. More crap to put in landfills and pollute.
