I see... If you want the best value, it's Spigen for sure. It's not the best case, but it's really rugged and resilient. I had it for years on my Samsung without any problem. My model didn't have the plastic screen cover, I used a separate screen protector

I've tried to use the warranty before and it's difficult to say the least.

I fidget too much with the charging port cover and it inevitably rips off, same goes for the rubber covering around the base which causes the rubber shell to separate.

The plastic has also gotten cracked on me once in a backpack.

But to my knowledge it is the most durable reliable phone case on the market that does an amazing job protecting your device.

I'm just cheap and hell on gear.

Many things used to be near buy it for life. The terminology is still used in government economic reports. Appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves and more are still called “durable goods”. They sure were. Not any more. Today things are not built to last. They call that….

“planned obsolescence”

a policy of producing consumer goods that rapidly become obsolete and so require replacing, achieved by frequent changes in design, termination of the supply of spare parts, and the use of nondurable materials. =profit!

I have a Mazzer grinder (another BIFL item) which I also got used - but for a "reasonable" used price instead of "hungover Savers employee pressing random numbers to get 10 billion items out in a day" pricing (450 dollars).

I'm actually installing that mod on this Silvia, assuming you mean Gaggiuino. Guess you could say Ranciliuino but Zero_Bit (the creator) would prefer you didn't call it anything other than the original name. Internally Silvia is pretty similar to a Gaggia; they're both simple single boiler machines with similar control schemes. The main difference is that Silvia has a bigger boiler.

Go on ebay and look for terms people who don't know anything about espresso call them. "Expresso maker" or "Cappuccino machine". Usually means the seller doesn't know anything about the item and is selling it for way too little.

Haven't put the sticky screen guard on any of my phones in ages. The gorilla glass or whatever it is they use for screens now is strong enough. I've always felt like that was putting a band-aid on something that isn't even broken.

Back in the day my iPhone screens would crack like regular glass, but nowadays I don't feel it's needed.

Just looked it up - it's Corning Gorilla Glass - very strong stuff as long as you don't work construction and drop your phone into concrete two stories up everyday

Every office chair in the history of the world claims to be ergonomic, so remove that as a purchase factor from your brain. Serious...not being cute.

Herman Miller, Steelcase, Humanscale....there are others and the search engine will help you find them. Which one is right for you? No one can answer that as looks and budget and options play a role.
