I’m currently wearing Reef Phantoms. I’ve had them for 1 year and it seems like I will be able to get a second year but they do have visible wear already. This is my first time with this brand. I have not worn them in the water.

My previous 3 pair were Crocs Athens which I love, but they are hard to find in my size. These are not as comfortable as the Reefs, but are very durable. I wore them as daily use shoes, wading in the surf on the gulf coast, kayaking, and around the house.

I walk a couple miles per day on average in my flip flops which is probably more than most brands are built for.

Yeah Blundstones used to be made in Australia and were high quality. They developed a huge following globally.

At some point they changed the design, and moved manufacturing to cheaper 3rd world countries.. yet the MSRP didn’t reflect the companies vastly increased profitability.

Consumers are finally catching on, and switching to similar styling, but old school quality. Apparently RedBacks are still decently made.

I am on year 7 of my redbacks (similar style to what you showed u/FattyBolgerIV). They were originally my duty boots in EMS, now daily driver all winter or off-road.

I believe the tread will actually last forever. I added an alpaca wool insole to insulate in the winter.

I rarely vouch for a brand, but Redback.

I have a current pair of Blundstones that I love that I got last year, but have heard their quality isn’t as good as it used to be. Good to know that once those kick it (hopefully not for a while as I try to maintain them while also using them heavily) that there are these to look into

I've put a lot of miles on my Vasque St Elias boots over the last 6 years. One of my regular hiking buddies got a pair around the same time and he still loves his too. Super waterproof and they don't get too hot. Not the lightest boots, but they've saved me from many ankle sprains and they still keep ankle height water out.

The plastic in the sole is starting to get flexible and rocks are starting to be more noticeable under foot so I'll need to replace them before my next 10+ day hike, but this is normal for hiking boots.

Love my rainbows, they last years and have never once had a strap break. On my second pair now, first pair lasted 3 years and I replaced them just bc they get pretty dirty and gross looking after a couple of summers

Watch out. While ozone is a tremendously effective sanitizer, it does to by hyperoxygenating everything around it. So in the case of food I would be concerned you are creating excessive oxidants for your digestive system.

You would be better off peroxiding your carrots. Its an effective but gentler oxydizer.

I like Rainbow a lot (disclosure: they're from my home town and I grew up in them). You will want rubber or hemp for good wear in water. My preference is the double-layer Classic Rubber.
