One thing I'll say about the Moab 2 is that they have various levels of waterproofing. They sell ventilated ones for dry summer hiking, standard, goretex, winter/ice ones.

This wouldn't change your comfort issues, but for you or anyone else reading this looking it's something good to be aware of.

You are conclusion shopping, let's not do that. If you want pants:

  1. Use the search engine. We've spoken on this topic before.
  2. Sex. Mens and Womens pants are a thing and we have no idea.
  3. Cute/Colorful mean 9000 things to 2000 people, post a picture.
  4. Pants. Painters with hammer loops, Farmers with double denim knees, Pedal pushers, leggings....all various forms of pants.
  5. Budget. $2000 pants are a thing.

Trendyol is a Turkish company (with Alibaba (Chinese company) being one of the main shareholder today (as far as I know)

I have never bought items directly from Trendyol, so I cannot tell whether the products are made in China or in Turkey.

Turkish manufacturer have to pay their employees more (compared to the other East Asian countries) since the minimum wage is 10.008 TL (488,36 Euro) a month according to https://www.pwc.com.tr/tr/hizmetlerimiz/insan-yonetimi-ve-organizasyon-danismanligi/sosyal-guvenlik-hizmetleri/bultenler/2022/2023-yili-asgari-ucret.html

There is also specific requirements to working conditions for factories which the government is very strict with and do frequent check-ups on which is way higher than the ones you typically see in China.

I have personally bought many products from other online Turkish retailers and the quality is typically very good (especially when you take the price into account) and often better than Italian goods which should be the best money can buy.

My advice would be to look where the product is made if you have that information available.

I have been super very poor, so my strategy is to buy the absolutely cheapest possible option and only upgrade if it hinders or doesn't help or wears out too quickly. And by cheapest possible I mean like $3 pillows at goodwill or Marc's or Ollie's. It's a little harder to get ripped off at low price points, and sometimes you encounter unexpected gems.

The way I think this one works is the duvet is divided into multiple sections, each section has down encased within a down proof sachet. The surrounding borders of each section are breathable while the down retains heat, resulting in a breathable duvet that doesn't leak feathers.

*edit: which now that I think of it, must be why the duvet crackles sort of loudly when you move it.
