not suffering internally, either by myself (or with someone I love) in a nice, small apartment, surrounded by my hobbies, I have food on the table, and the ability to pay off all of my taxes and debt because I have a decent job…
I’m also a writer/author and game designer on the side, I know how to riff on an electronic guitar, and I have free time to think about my life and engage with my hobbies, and life in general

It's a subjective question. You could argue the founding of Rome, the start of Hellenic thought, Constantine's conversion, or something in the modern era, and probably more I'm not thinking of depending on what you think "The West" is
