At this point, I think Romney would have the edge. He seems like one of the more sane well-known republicans.

If he could then probably Mitt Romney, Republicans will vote for party no matter what even if they don't like the candidate and I could see Romney getting a lot of the independent vote since now he is moderate for the Republican party.

Washington State is beautiful. Nice vibe in the small towns. Found the people to be really friendly and courteous.

agreed, but imo what is a country other than a collection of people? Good people are what make good countries, such as our brave, REAL, democratically elected, president, bernie sanders
