if you are at college it's because you chose to be there, even if your parents demanded it. "Getting out" of it is just a waste of your own time and money (or parent's money).

I’ve never really had to explain it since I moved out at 19 but I have a rule that says if I can’t make it sound like a good idea I shouldn’t do it
