I have autonomic neuropathy, which for me means that, when I stand up, my blood pressure spikes dangerously high, I get heart palpitations and facial flushing, and I feel nauseated.

If I then have to walk anywhere - which, you know, most folks do even at home, like to the bathroom - I then become out of breath and the nausea turns to vomiting if I don't sit down right away.

If the weather is hot, even with a/c inside just standing up is nearly impossible.

This illness came on suddenly in 2015 and worsened to the point where I felt I had to buy a wheelchair.

I want to watch fireworks but we live in a small neighborhood in a house and can’t see much from here. Where I live people buy their own fireworks and can fire them freely so we don’t have to go to any shows, but the best views are from high places like a two-three story apartment. Plus I don’t think my family is as passionate as me about going out and seeing them.

I've thought about this A LOT. I wouldn't tell me wife (because she would betray herself and tell her fucking sisters). I would play it cool, I would keep working at my shitty job and just be cool. Meanwhile... I would hire two different financial advisors, and I would tell them that I need to double my earnings. Meanwhile, at work I would act and respond with my most honest and truthful voice, the voice that I spend my entire career suffocating for fear of retaliation, especially now in the current woke cult that has captured the minds of seemingly every damn corporation in the free world.
