I created the concept in Illustrator, then I basically just followed it like a blueprint when I was ready to actually paint it. I put a ton of hours into this thing, taking time to measure everything out and mix every color really intentionally. I started by getting all of my shapes/values/mountains in place, then I went back over everything and brightened all of the colors one disco moon beam at a time. I used tons of tape. It was very tedious, but totally worth it!

This looks very dope and the technique to produce this on canvas is a little bit mindblowing to me. Do you tape everything multiple times or is there another technique to get those perfect sharp lines?
