Thanks! They're called suckers or suction cups, as far as I know (English is not my native language.)

The uniformity that I've achieved here, I feel is especially a product of practice. It's done by hand, it takes some carefulness. I've been sculpting octopus regularly since 2017. Eventually you get a feel for the material and how to handle it. I love the result and the look of this pain-staking method, it does test my patience but it is worth it to me.

The bright and vibrant colors of this species are so beautiful, they're also a warning sign. The blue-ringed octopus is possibly the most venomous octopus in the seas but fortunately they're rather docile!

Thank you so much for your kind comment, I'm glad you enjoyed this artwork.

aa, sorry for misunderstanding!

you know, i've met artists posting their art but being shy to make friends, and i jumped to conclusions haha. sorry.

i am very glad you shared it with us, you have a lot of talent and i believe that being able to motivate you sounds like being a team between an artist and their followers.

i hope your friends and you can have time soon to meet up. i'm sure they would be amazed if they saw this illustration. (maybe they are already used to being amazed lol).
