Thanks! It’s because of lightning, the clay pieces are securely glued to each other and to the canvas :)

Wow! Beautiful work - very clean technique. It's hard to tell from the pic - is there a dark background under the clay, or am I seeing it that way due to the lighting?

I like the contrast between vague background and clear like on the train. Drives the focus. Also the suggestion of movement and speed is great :-)
