That’s certainly not unheard of, although less common.

mushroom dosing is difficult because there’s great variance of psilocybin between strains and even within the same batch. There’s no easy way to know how potent it will be until you ingest it. Also there’s several other factors to consider.

  • How you ingest it (tea or whole)
  • fresh or dried
  • manner of storage and how old it is
  • Whether it’s taken on an empty stomach or full
  • Your medical history and other drugs in your system

There’s a lot of variables that affect the outcome.

It’s best to just start small until effects are noticeable and add conservatively until desired effects are achieved.

Most people that have an extremely unpleasant experience with mushrooms didn’t respect their power or any of the variables. They just shoved a shit ton of shrooms in their mouths thinking it would be a good time. No research or questions or preparation.

I advise against that approach strongly.

Thank you very much for your words and I'm glad you liked it! I love when the atmosphere of a drawing can generate different emotions in people, be it sadness for some, or tranquility for others. And in fact I was thinking of doing another drawing that continues this idea called "Found".

“Found” rather - by the cat. I love this. It fucks with me in a great way; I feel a whole cluster of emotions for the cat alone… Anxious about it’s safety and well being, wanting to be with it because - cat - adventure cat, let’s go! - And yet, I feel calm, and grounded, centered - if you will, by the environment here. I love when art ignites emotional responses.
